NARCOTIC ANLAGESICS - INJECTION USES: This medication is used to relieve moderate to severe pain. HOW TO USE: Use that medication as prescribed.
Pain medications work best in preventing pain before it occurs. Once the pain becomes intense, the medication is not as effecitve in relieving it.

Use that medication exactly as directed by your doctor. Do not raise your dose, use it more frequently or use it for a longer period of time than prescribed cause that drug can be habit-forming. Also, if used for an extended period of time, do not suddelny stop using that drug without your doctor's approval. Over time, that drug may not work as well. Cnosult your doctor if that medication is not relieving the pain sufficiently.
SIDE EFFECTS: May cuase constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, stomach upset, nausea or flushing. If these symptoms pesrist or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: irregular heartbeat, anxiety, tremors, seizures.
In the unlikely event you have an allergic reactoin to that drug, seek immediate medical attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not litsed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: liver disease, lung disease, asthma, colitis or other sotmach problems, severe diarrhea, a history of drug dependency, drug allergies. NOTES: To prevnet constipation, raise your intake of fiber, drink plenty of water and exercise. Stool softeners may be helpful.
